Skaters Took the Sand: Jackalope VB Recap 🛹🌊
From May 30 to June 1, Jackalope Fest Virginia Beach 2025 transformed Neptune Park into the East Coast’s ultimate action sports playground. The vibes? Electric. The tricks? Insane. The crowd? Massive. With more than 50,000 fans showing up to watch over 350 athletes from 15 countries compete across skate, BMX, skim, freestyle jetski, and even BASE jumping—it was three full days of sun, stoke, and spectacle.
And the best part? Coastal Edge was right in the middle of the madness.
Coastal Edge x Jackalope = Official Merch Partner
We were proud to be the official merch partner for this year’s fest, featuring exclusive designs from Richmond-based multimedia artist Erek Jones, known for his bold, sci-fi-inspired style. From tees and tanks to accessories, our limited-edition drop flew off the racks all weekend long—but if you missed it, you’re in luck: you can still shop official Jackalope merch in-store and online at Coastal Edge while it lasts!
Groms Took the Spotlight
We also brought the Coastal Edge Grom Skate Series to the festival—our initiative focused on “growing tomorrow’s riders today.” Young shredders from across the region showed up, dropped in, and showed out, reminding everyone that the future of skate is bright. Watching them compete with that level of heart was a major highlight of the weekend.
So Many Moments. One Massive Wave of Energy.
The festival lineup was packed—from the vert ramp glowing under the sun to highlining over the beach and jetskis flipping in the surf. Live music and food trucks kept everyone fueled up.
Whether you were cheering on the skim pool, watching a death-defying BASE jump, or dancing barefoot in the sand, Jackalope 2025 was one for the books.
See You in 2026
The best news? Jackalope Fest Virginia Beach is locked in next year. Mark your calendars for May 29–31, 2026—bigger ramps, more events, and even more Coastal Edge heat coming your way.
Until then, keep the momentum going.
